ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Marquise Williams was born in Virginia on March 29, 1996. He received his BFA in fashion design then worked in New York City, where he began working as a lead designer for established fashion brands. Inspired by the freedom of self-expression and the desire to create something beyond convention, he founded Maison Léon and designed the Lenny Boot, the house’s first signature design.

Maison Léon is an American luxury footwear house recognized for its bold approach to color, distinctive silhouettes, and commitment to craftsmanship. The house reinterprets classic footwear with a modern sensibility, creating designs that celebrate individuality and effortless sophistication.
